Before you arrive

Checklist What to bring
  • Fully paid rental fee as stated in the Accommodation Offer
  • Online acceptance of Accommodation Offer and “Tenancy Agreement”
  • Accommodation Offer Letter (for check in verification)
  • E-mail notification to housing@curtin.edu.my of your confirmed arrival at least 5 working days in advance
  • For Airport Reception Service (ARS), please submit your request at least 5 working days in advance
  • Immigration Requirement (International/West Malaysian)
  • Time Zone: MST (UTC +8)
  •  Bedding : Pillow & blanket, super single bedsheets and pillowcases, towels
  • Personal computer (if preferred)
  • Clothing: casual, comfortable clothing (average temperatures 24-34 degrees)
  • Cloth hangers
  • Crockery and cutlery
  • Basic toiletries
  • Electric voltage is 220-240v. The type of power plugs used is the three square plug

 
Student who arrives before or after the working hours without prior consent from Housing Services will not be attended to.

Students are strongly advised not to arrive at their designated residences BEFORE the specified check-in date as the Housing Services cannot guarantee the availability of accommodation prior to the specified date.
